Class Placement
All students are placed into a class according to their age and more
importantly their level of ability. Numbers of years of previous
training does not necessarily determine placement. If at any time the
instructor feels the student is incorrectly placed, he or she will be
moved into the proper class.
Class Etiquette & Dress Code
• Please arrive on time so as not to disrupt class and ensure proper
warm-up
• Proper dance attire is necessary for the dance instructor to see your
body alignment. Leotards, tights, fitted dance pants, & ballet skirts
are allowed. Baggy clothes such as T-shirts sweat pants, loose fitted
shorts, etc. are not allowed.
• Please label all shows, bags, and costumes. They all look the same.
• Hair must be tied up and off face.
• No food, drink, or gum, chewing is allowed in the studio. Water only,
in plastic containers, may be brought into the studio.
• No cell phones in the studio.
• Please be courteous to your fellow students and your instructor by
realizing that the classroom is for learning. Socializing should be done
in the waiting/changing areas. Also, when your teacher is working with
an individual student or group of students, you should quietly watch,
listen, and learn.
• Don’t forget to thank your teacher after class.
Attendance
Please call if you know you are going to be absent. Good attendance is
encouraged. If you have an injury or mild, non-contagious illness you
are encouraged to come to class and watch. Make-up classes are available
when you must miss. Refunds are not given for missed classes.

Snow cancellations do not always correspond to school snow days.
If in doubt, please call the studio.
We do not deduct tuition for snow days.
Tuition
Tuition statements will be mailed
out three times per school year. If your account is 30 days past due
your child will not be permitted to attend class until tuition is
brought up to date. First Quarter tuition is due at time registration,
next payment will be due Nov. 15, then Jan. 15, and finally Mar. 15.
All payments should be sent to our main office at 1321 Main St. Reading
MA 01867. A $25 registration fee per student or $40 per family is due annually .
Students are not assured a place in class until registration fee and 1st
Quarter Tuition is received.
All accounts receive a $15.00
discount on Quarterly Tuition if it is paid by the due date.

Second family member receives 10% discount. Third and
subsequent family members receive a 20% discount.
A 5% discount is offered if full years tuition is paid
by September 30th!
Costumes
Costume payments are due in two
installments. The first costume deposit of $30.00 per class is due
November 15th, the remaining balance is due December 1st.
If full payment has not been received by December 10th there
will be a $20 shipping and handling late fee per costume.
We cannot order your child a costume until payment is received. Costume
payments are not refundable; if a child drops out we will notify you
when your costume arrives, if it is not picked up within 30 days it will
be donated to the Dancenters. Costs for costumes are:
Child small & Medium- $65.00
Child Large-Adult Large- $75.00
Notices
We have a new
monthly newsletter that will be sent home with your child and posted on
the bulletin board, please make sure to come into the studio when you
pick up your child to see if there have been any notices you didn’t
receive and check with your child to see if anything has been sent home,
especially around recital time.
Observation Classes
Parents are encouraged to view the progress of
their child on the first class of every other month (Sept., Nov., Jan.,
March, May). At all other times parents, Siblings, and friends are not
allowed in the classroom, as this can be distracting to the dancers.
Video taping is not allowed without your teacher’s approval. Many
teachers find this distracting.
Summer Programs
The regular summer programs runs for a period
of eight weeks during the months of July and August. The more serious
dancers should keep up classes year round. It is also a nice opportunity
for students who wish to try out a class on a short-term basis or keep
active during the summer months. Week long summer camps offering a
variety of classes and activities are also scheduled throughout the
summer.
Birthday Parties
Dancing birthday parties can be schedules for
the birthday child. Parties include one hour of your choice of dance
class, and one hour for cake, ice cream, gifts and games. Please contact
